The core trade-off
A new launch spreads your payments over the build period but leaves you waiting until 2029. A resale or sub-sale gets you a home sooner, because the building is already built or nearer completion. Both are 99-year leaseholds; the resale lease started earlier, so the remaining term is slightly shorter.
Which suits whom
- You need a home or rental income within two years: resale.
- You can wait and prefer to pay in stages: new launch.
- You want the widest choice of stacks and floors on today's list: new launch, before the good stacks go.
The area guide to Lentor resale condos covers what to check on a resale purchase.
